Hardy and the others began working for various independent companies along the East Coast of the United States. They eventually formed the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA), which proved to be a more successful version of the Trampoline Wrestling Federation that had come before it.
Hardy wrestled there until he and his brother joined what was still known as the WWF at the time. Initially, he worked as a jobber, which meant he was responsible for making the other wrestler look good. Nonetheless, he and his brother eventually piqued the interest of WWF management, allowing them to secure contracts in 1998. Hardy rose to prominence as half of the Hardy Boyz.
In 1999, Hardy met his current wife Beth Britt at the club, Southern Pines. Ruby Claire Hardy, the couple’s first child, was born in 2010. Jeff and Beth married in 2011, and their second child, Nera Quinn Hardy, was born in 2015.
