He rose to prominence in the early 2000s, despite having wrestled for quite sometime before that. He used to go by the stage name “American Dragon,” but this is now more of a nickname. According to one observer, Daniel was regarded as the best wrestler in the world prior to beginning his WWE career. Daniel wrestled extensively in Japan outside of the WWE.

Bryan was forced to retire in 2016 due to serious medical issues. Daniel was having severe seizures as a result of repeated brain injuries, among other things. He had suffered several concussions throughout his career, and these brain injuries resulted in a brain lesion. Having said that, Bryan returned to the WWE in 2018 after being cleared by doctors. Bryan Lloyd Danielson was born in Aberdeen, Washington on May 22, 1981. His father worked as a logger, and his mother was a therapist. Bryan’s parents divorced when he was still a child. His first introduction to professional wrestling came from a friend who showed him a professional wrestling magazine. Bryan quickly became a devoted follower.

Danielson did not have many friends in high school, describing himself as “antisocial,” but he participated in various athletics programs and joined the school’s football team. Wrestlers such as Toshiaki Kawada, Mitsuharu Misawa, and William Regal influenced him early in his career. He also allegedly studied Brazilian jiu-jitsu to distinguish his style from others.

In 1999, he made his pro-wrestling debut on an independent pro-wrestling circuit. In the year 2000, Daniel agreed to an 18-month contract with WWF. Before signing a contract with WWE in 2009, he wrestled for Ring of Honor, Pro-Wrestling Noah, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

He became the 26th Triple Crown Champion and the 15th Grand Slam Champion upon his return to WWE. He won Money in the Bank in 2011. Daniel Brian announced his retirement from wrestling in 2016 due to seizures and a brain lesion caused by multiple concussions. He was the general manager of Smackdown until 2018. Doctors allowed him to wrestle again in 2018. He signed with AEW after his contract with WWE expired in 2022.

He received several awards and honors from animal rights activist groups as a result of this. Danielson, however, admitted less than a year later that he was no longer vegan. He explained that he had a soy intolerance and couldn’t find enough vegan food that didn’t contain a lot of soy. In 2018, it was reported that he and Brie were both vegetarians.
