Bill Ackman is a philanthropist and hedge fund manager with a net worth of $3.2 billion. He is best known as the founder and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management LP, also known as William Ackman (a hedge fund management company).

On May 11, 1966, William Ackman was born. He is the son of Lawrence David Ackman, the chairman of the Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group in New York. In 1988, Bill graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. and a magna cum laude. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1992.
